Sheriff Allen F. Solomon

Sheriff Solomon, a democrat, is a lifelong resident of Auglaize County.  At the young age of 21, he started out his career in law enforcement as a Deputy with the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office.  From 1979 to 1987 Al served as a Road Deputy with Corrections & Dispatching responsibilities.  In 1987 Al was promoted to Detective.  In 1989 Al was promoted to the rank of Sergeant.   In 2003 Al was promoted to the rank of Captain, and in November of 2004 Al was elected Sheriff.   Al and his wife, Kris, have 3 sons and a daughter.
